Summer is in full swing on Ontario’s West Coast and July is brimming with is brimming with excitement. Local festivals and events this month offer visitors a chance to celebrate the classic corvette, pursue arts and crafts, take part in a massive rummage sale, attend a retro concert and celebrate all things summer.

See hundreds of classic and Corvette’s at Bayfield Vette Fest. Friday, July 5th is the Summer Night Cruise, and the Vettes will be in Clan Gregor Square, Bayfield on July 6th from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. If you’re coming to the Bayfield Vette Fest on July 6th, make sure you walk across the street to the Bayfield Fireman’s Breakfast on Saturday morning ( 8:00 – 11:00 AM). They put on a great breakfast!

The Goderich Kinette Club Festival of Arts and Crafts takes place in Courthouse Square Park, Goderich from July 5 -7th. 100 artisan vendors selling goods that are 100% handmade. Visitors will find a mix of high-quality arts and crafts, including visual arts, pottery, clothing, jewellery and small batch food items. The festival runs Friday from noon to 8 pm, Saturday from 9 am to 5 pm and Sunday from 9 am to 4 pm

Find that bargain or unique one-of-a-kind piece at the Pioneer Park Rummage Sale on Friday, July 12th at the Bayfield Community Centre, 4 Jane Street, Bayfield. A generations-old community event, now in its 75th year, that pulls our village together and kicks off the summer season. The annual Rummage Sale is the largest revenue generating event to support and maintain Pioneer Park, a vibrant, healthy and open park space in Bayfield.

Goderich Summerfest celebrates the summer in Courthouse Square Park, Goderich from July 11-13th.  Thursday evening is Pub Night on July 11. Doors open at 7 pm. Musical entertainment by Matt Hussey. $5 admission and age of majority. Friday July 12 doors open at 4 pm. Tyler Morrison & Friends Comedy Act, Celtic Blue Highlanders will open Summerfest Followed by the Dave’s I Know. $10 admission and age of majority after 6pm.Saturday July 13 – bar opens at noon. Goderich BIA Free Concert Series 12-1:30 PM. Bands Division/Line opening for Tastey Newz. Corn Hole, Connect 4 & other lawn games through the day. $15 admission and age of majority after 6pm. Cash bar and food booth all 3 days nights.

Six String Music Fest returns on Saturday, July 27th at the Seaforth Agriplex, 140 Duke Street Seaforth. This year’s epic event will feature two amazing bands, REWIND THE 90’s and Canada’s premiere KISS cover band DESTROYER. Live Music on the outdoor stage from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm (no ticket required). Pineridge Chicken BBQ from 4:30 pm – 6:30 pm ( pre-purchased tickets only).Main Concert at 8:00 pm, featured bands starting at 9:00 pm (all ages ticketed event). Six Strings Music Fest is fundraiser for the Tanner Steffler Foundation. Proceeds will directly benefit the youth & families of Huron & Perth County and allow TSF to deliver mental health and addiction programming that supports our local communities year-round.

Leading up to the concert and events at the Seaforth Agriplex, enjoy Seaforth Summerfest from 12:00 to 5:00 PM. Seaforth Main Street is closed for the afternoon for this free community event which features live music, Grand River Inflatables (bouncy castles, climbing wall, big slides), Petting Zoo, Face Painting, Food Booths, Makers Market and Sidewalk Sales.
