After working up an appetite, satisfy your hunger with dinner at one of the many family-friendly restaurant options in Exeter or Grand Bend.

Spend an evening under the stars at the nostalgic classic drive-in movie theater, the Starlite Drive-In. It’s an ideal way to end the day, popcorn and a double film feature.

Day 2

Relax or have some splashing fun with Tubing Auburn Riverside Retreat! Add spectacular scenery, quaint surroundings, and the sounds of the Maitland River and you get an amazing way to spend an afternoon.

Set along the scenic Maitland River Falls Reserve Conservation Area is a 230-acre natural outdoor playground. The small waterfall in the Maitland River is a beautiful natural swimming area. There are 7 km of trails at Falls Reserve to explore and There is even a stocked fishing pond.

Be sure to stop at The Village Toy Castle. Part museum and part store the Castle is the home of Definitive Toys and the ultimate play destination for kids (and collectors) of all ages. Check out all the new stock of old-school games, gags, tricks, toys, and summer fun stuff!

Grab some of the best burgers and dogs in the County at Farmer’s Dell a retro drive-in food stand. We recommend the Barnyard Burger- beef patty, breaded chicken, bacon, fried egg, and onion rings – or those with a big appetite.  You also can’t go wrong ordering the always-changing weekend specials. Don’t forget ice cream or a shake for dessert!
