PA Day at the Library

It is a P.A. Day at Huron County Library and there are so many things to do at a branch near you! All open branches will have activities for kids throughout the day and of course you can always drop in to check out a new book, borrow a favourite movie, and so much more!
The following branches are hosting the following special activities:
- Bayfield Branch: Join us this PA Day on a whimsical journey as we transform ordinary pinecones into vibrant butterflies! Unleash your creativity and get crafting to bring these delicate creatures to life. This Program runs 11:00-1:00. Ages under 12 with adult supervision. Registration required: Email bayfieldlibrary@huroncounty.ca to register.
- Clinton Branch: Explore the Wonderful World of Fossils with local fossil enthusiast Bob O’Donnell, otherwise known as “The Fossil Guy”. This presentation and display is for all ages. Participants will get the opportunity to get up close and touch the fossils as well as view them through a microscope. This program starts at 1 p.m. and all ages are welcome! Registration required: Email clintonlibrary@huroncounty.ca to register.
- Exeter Branch: Explore the Wonderful World of Fossils with local fossil enthusiast Bob O’Donnell, otherwise known as “The Fossil Guy”. This presentation and display is for all ages. - Exeter Branch: Pride Month: Rainbow Storytime features LGBTQ2S+ themed stories and songs! This drop-in program runs from 2-3 p.m. No registration required.
- Exeter Branch: Celebrate pride month by dropping in for Pride Month- themed button making! Available all day – 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
- Goderich Branch: Let your imagination run wild as you get to design your own button! Enjoy other activities the branch has to offer such as scavenger hunts and Nintendo Switch. This program runs 1:00-3:00 Ages under 12 with adult supervision. Registration required: Email goderichlibrary@huroncounty.ca to register
