Join us at the Alice Munro Branch in Wingham for an evening celebrating our freedom to read! To celebrate the right to read in a branch named after a Nobel Prize winner who experienced censorship in her career seems perfect!
Bring along a banned title to read aloud or pick one from the small selection we will have on-hand.
Please note: Due to the subject matter of the books being read, this is an Adult program. While this is a program celebrating the freedom to read, it remains a public library event and the Code of Patron Conduct still applies. With this in mind, reading aloud hate speech or passages that exemplify hateful discourse targeting a particular group of people will not be tolerated.
