Rural Response for Healthy Children- Family Community Garden- Exeter Location
This program is for parents/caregivers with young children. We will be exploring all the offerings of a community garden from spring to summer! This program is based on the Rainbow Food Explorers program, which supports the development of life-long healthy eating habits by encouraging parents and young children to explore and experience rainbows of fruits and vegetables, using all of their senses. This a fun and interactive way to spend time outside in nature as a family, while exploring all the wonders of a garden, fruits and vegetables, and gathering as a community.
Weekly registration is welcomed but not necessary. Families can drop in at anytime. If you need help with transportation to the program location, please reach out to Susan at 1 (226) 699-0707 ext. 103 or scowman@rrhc.on.ca.
