This itinerary is designed to showcase the diverse culinary scene located along Bluewater Highway # 21.

Day 1

Breakfast at Cait’s Café, Goderich: Start your day with a delightful breakfast at Cait’s Café, known for its cozy atmosphere and locally sourced ingredients.

After breakfast head across the street to visit the Goderich Farmers’ Market to explore the array of fresh produce, artisanal goods, and local delicacies. Pick-up some homemade jams, artisan cheeses, and freshly baked bread.
Head to Culbert’s Bakery, on West Street to grab a couple of their famous cream puffs. Try to get there early to avoid the lines and the disappoint of them being sold out as they are that popular.

Have lunch at Part II Bistro, a cozy restaurant offering contemporary Canadian cuisine with a focus on locally sourced ingredients.
Spend the rest of the afternoon at Square Brew a vibrant hub of creativity and community, inviting locals and visitors alike to indulge in the art of craft brewing. With a diverse lineup of innovative brews, ranging from hoppy IPAs to rich stouts and refreshing lagers, Square Brew offers something to tantalize every palate.

Book a patio table at Beach Street Station and enjoy the sunset over the lake while you dine and enjoy a creative cocktail. This former railway station features a diverse menu of delectable dishes crafted with locally sourced ingredients and exudes warmth and hospitality.

Day 2

Breakfast at The Little Inn of Bayfield: Start your second day with a leisurely breakfast at The Little Inn of Bayfield, a historic inn known for its elegant dining room and delicious breakfast offerings.

Grab a coffee at ShopBike Coffee Roasters. Candy lovers will for the retro and hard to find candies on offer.

Hit Historic Main Street to check out the retail shops, art galleries and public art. Be sure to stop and indulge your sweet tooth at Pink Flamingo Bakery, a boutique bakery specializing in gourmet cupcakes, squares, cookies, biscotti and more.

Enjoy lunch at the Albion Hotel.

Before leaving Bayfield fill your cooler with stops at Bayfield Berry Farm, a charming agritourism destination offering visitors the opportunity to pick their own fresh berries, explore scenic fields, and enjoy homemade treats like jams and pies made with the farm’s bountiful harvest.

Finally, stock-up on otherworldly smoked fish along with fresh and frozen seafood and lake fish at Out of the Blue Seafood Market.

Our next stop is Schatz Winery at Hessenland Inn. Schatz Winery offers a distinctly Huron-inspired palate. Wander the vineyards and enjoy a tasting in their relaxed Tasting Room.

The final stop is Dark Horse Estate Winery.  Enjoy dinner at their in-house restaurant, Danu Cellars where you will experience exquisite flavours sourced from the surrounding farms and fields. Enjoy pairings from their extensive collection of wines produced from grape varietals grown in the vineyard. Be sure to stay and catch the sunset before departing for home.
